LeBron James shines
My wife and daughter were watching Dreamgirls last night. It proved to be too fizzy showbizzy for me, at least at that moment, so I left to watch the final quarter of the Detroit-Cleveland game. It went into double-overtime.
It was a game for the ages. LeBron James scored 29 of his team’s final 30 points. This against an extremely powerful defensive team.
And how did the sports writers of the LA Daily News report the story? They didn’t, obsessed as they were with their Kobe Bryant off-season melodrama. There wasn’t even a box score to indicate a game had been played. Cleveland won 109-107.
