mitt wins
Mitt: “The idea of Bill Clinton back in the White House with nothing to do is something I can’t imagine.”
A good debate in Boca Raton showed the problem Republicans face: Mitt, Rudy and McCain are each presidential.
MSNBC’s final debate before the Florid primary may have been the best so far. Brian Williams finally seems to get it that the debate is about the candidates.
Republicans are picking a president. Democrats are trying to decide whether to have the first woman candidate or the first black candidate. There’s a tortoise-hare thing going on this year.
The Republicans focused not on one another, but on the issues. Any attacks were reserved for Hillary.
Mitt even went after Bill, saying the American people do not look forward to having a Bill Clinton hanging around the White House with nothing to do.
Talk Left noticed that, blogging:“They are all attacking Hillary and I heard no mention of Obama. What does that signify? Also, they are being so polite to each other. Was that pre-arranged to show the difference between them and the Dems?”
There was nothing to pre-arrange. Republicans consider Obama to be the girl Democrats will date and Hillary the one they will marry.
