This pro-Obama music video is a hoot. Let’s hope these people are emotionally spent by the time of the election and stay home to watch reruns of The West Wing where they belong.

Sample lyric:

I’m ready to believe
No more people who deceive
It’s his time to take the stage
It’s our time to turn the page
I don’t want to be feeling sad
I don’t want to be feeling bad
Give us one good man
Who says yes
Yes we can

The song is from a blog that loves JFK. One can assume they see Obama and today’s JFK. I’ve blogged on this foolishness, now Don Surber writes:

ENOUGH of this nonsense about Barack Obama being the next John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Obama’s foreign policy and his domestic policy are further from JFK than Dan Quayle ever was.

…This week in Columbus, Obama said: “We should take that $12 billion we’re spending every month in Iraq right now and spend it in places like Ohio, putting people back to work, making the economy more competitive.”

Contrast that to JFK’s inauguration speech, in which he said, “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”

Now if $12 billion a month out of an economy with a gross domestic product of $15 trillion a year is too big a price or too heavy burden for Obama, maybe he should just stay in the Senate and finish his rookie term.
